Watch Our Video

Hello! We are Osagiator and Jamie. We are the parents of three beautiful daughters, and we’re beyond excited to grow our family. We are a family that loves God. We acknowledge we need him every moment of every day. We’re currently youth leaders at our church. We love sports and being active. Osagiator’s favorite sport is soccer, and he coaches two teams for our recreational league in town. Jamie loves basketball and coached for our local high school recently. She is now coaching cross country for our school’s junior high. We completed our third half marathon together this past year and love to stay active as a family. We hope to get the opportunity to know you more and what you’re looking for in an adoptive family.

About Us

We met salsa and bachata dancing in 2012. Our passion for Latin dance is what brought us together and is still a source of fun and joy in our marriage. Our faith and common morals/goals are the root of our marriage. We acknowledge that we need Christ to stay afloat as individuals, as well as husband and wife. We recently celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary. We love serving our church and community together. We enjoy staying active together by running, hiking, lifting weights, riding bikes, or a “friendly” game of pickle ball. We also love to have coffee dates and play five crowns together.

We have always talked about adoption, even while dating. While we always knew adoption was in our future, we finally feel in a place where we’re physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually ready to grow our family through adoption. We look forward to seeing our future child be embraced by us and his three sisters. We look forward to showering him with love and doing all our fun family things with him.

About Jamie

Osagiator says: Jamie is our loving and compassionate presence. She is also strong, as she has a very demanding career as a Labor and Delivery nurse. She has helped bring hundreds of babies safely into this world. She is a rock for our girls at home too. Part of the reason she works nights is so she can be a “stay-at-home mom” during the day. She is active daily in our children’s schoolwork, sports, and needs. She is a safe place for them to grow and develop. She goes above and beyond for our children.

While she has been through physical hardships and tragedy over the last decade, she chose to use her pain to try to help others. Recently she wrote a book to share her grieving process and encourage others by reminding them of Christ’s targeted care and all surrounding presence in the midst of tragedy. Jamie loves big and gives generously.

Jamie loves to travel and adventure. Experiencing new places or cultures is something she loves and prioritizes for our family. Some of her favorite hobbies include playing basketball, coaching sports, reading, journaling, movies, card games, crocheting, cooking and baking. She cannot wait to build up and nurture a son through all of these activities! She is thankful to call her career a hobby as well.

About Osagiator

Jamie says: Osagiator is our strong, quiet presence; he is a safety net for all of us. He is very wise, extremely generous, funny, and leads his family with thoughtfulness and love. He is always taking care of everyone else before thinking of himself. He knows a lot about history, sports, and politics. He is constantly joking in his Nigerian accent. He is always generous with his parents, sisters, and their families; he takes pride in his role as the first-born son and what that expects of him culturally. He’s an Occupational Therapist who works with older adults, to help them regain independence and quality of life.

He is not only a leader in our home and for his parents/siblings, but he also leads in our community. He is a youth leader in our church, a coach for several sports (you will hear parents and kids call him Coach O around town), and a leader in our schools as part of the school board. This man takes hard work, selflessness, and his commitment to God to a whole new level. Our children look up to him and adore him. He is so excited to raise a son and instill his values of hard work, courage, integrity, and wisdom into him. He looks forward to working out, playing sports, watching sports, and having discussions about history and politics with our son. I am excited to see his commitment and mentorship to our future son. He’s such a blessing as the leader of our home.

Our Family

We have been blessed with 3 daughters….

Olivia is our intelligent, witty, and big-hearted 9-year-old. She is an outstanding athlete and loves to cook and bake. She loves to build complicated Legos or create things with her 3D pen. She is a kind friend and such a compassionate presence. She is the best big sister.

Brooklyn is our passionate, opinionated “diva.” We love her confidence. She is also a good little athlete and has grown in her love for dance and cheer. She loves to do hair, makeup, and accessorize for fun. When she sings, she is full of expression and doesn’t hold back, which is her approach to many things in life. She is a fierce protector of her sisters.

Esther is our feisty toddler. When she loves, she loves hard. She is very smart, thanks to her two older sisters that she strives to be like. She can already sing the alphabet since they practice with her all the time. Her smile is so big, and her laugh is so precious. She has all 4 of us wrapped around her little finger!

Our Pets: Sadie is our big labradoodle that thinks she is a small lap dog. She is very protective of the children; she likes to watch them when they play in the backyard. Owen is our little Shih Tzu. He is a guard dog that is always in guard mode…sitting or lying between us and any door. He also senses feelings, so he is an emotional support dog. Mya is our little Lhasapoo. She is very cuddly and thinks she is the boss of Owen and Sadie.

Our Home in Northern California

We recently moved to a five-bedroom home in preparation to grow our family through adoption. We’re still in the same town, but closer to Grandma and Papa’s house and within walking distance from our elementary school (which we love!). It’s such a blessing that all of our children, including our future child, have their own bedroom. We already have a room designated as the future nursery. We also have a loft that we use as a family room for movies, board games, or homework and another loft that we use as an office and reading/exercise room. We have a backyard that faces an open hill where we sometimes get to see deer. We have fun things for the children outside including a trampoline, water table, toddler play structure, and soccer goals. We live in a small tight-knit community. Our neighbor has a basketball hoop that all the neighborhood kids leave their basketballs at, including our children. We’re so thankful for our new home, the extra space, and opportunity for our kids to have their own individualized space.

Our Promise

We promise wholeheartedly to love your child unconditionally, sacrificially, and fiercely. Just like God reminds us that nothing we say or do could separate us from His love, nothing our children say or do will separate them from our love. We promise to pray fervently for your son. We promise to provide for his physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. We will ask God for wisdom to recognize his specific giftings. We will support him in his education and life’s endeavors, just as we have with our three oldest children. We promise to hold you in high regards in our home and to pray for you. May the Lord grant you His peace and provision. With love from Him, we share our promises to you.

We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family

Our Extended Family

We have a big family on both sides, so combined it’s a really big family!

Osagiator’s side consists of Grandma and Grandpa O, 3 aunties, 3 uncles, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. While all of his siblings are spread out across the US, we meet as often as possible in Southern California where Osagiator and his sisters were raised. We get together for celebrations with extended family several times a year, and do as many holidays together as possible.

Jamie’s side consists of Grandma and Papa--they watch our children a couple days a week, so we see them often. They go out of their way to love on the girls and spend quality time with them. They’re intentional, love to teach, and make it to as many of the girls' sporting events as possible.

We also have many great-grandparents, great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins (too many to name) that are actively involved in our children’s lives.

Our Community

We can’t say enough GREAT things about our community!

Our “Yaya” group (all the grandmas in our girls' grandma’s friend group) are nothing but phenomenal! They love our children like their own. They have babysat for us and have been to so many important events for our girls to support and cheer them on. They organized our wedding, as well as our baby showers. They help with the girls' birthday parties every year, and they have already started pouring their love and gifts on our future child/children.

Our friend group is so uplifting, encouraging, loving, and supportive. They go out of their way to show our family kindness. Both of us have an amazing work environment with colleagues that are friends. They also check in on us and encourage us often as we seek to grow our family through adoption.

Five Things We Love on A Weekend

1) Rest and the opportunity to sleep in on Saturday, if possible.
2) Getting outside together whether we are watching the girls play sports, doing something active, or just hanging out--it is great to get fresh air. Things that we love include going to the beach, puddle jumping, family walks, and park fun.
3) Quality cozy time--we get on our favorite pajamas and enjoy a meal together, sometimes while watching a movie or playing a board game.
4) Catching up on things around the house--cleaning, grocery shopping, or yard work, so we can go into the next week ready to go.
5) Going to church--we love our church family! They’re loving, down-to-earth people who love Jesus and love others. Hearing from our pastor is always a great perspective check before starting our week.
