Hello! We are Paul and Christina. Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your baby. As full-time pastors at a church we planted together, we love serving the needs of our community and find joy in leading others to experience God’s love and to discover their purpose. We both come from strong families who taught us the importance of faith, family values, and unconditional love. All of this has shaped us into who we are today and deepened our desire to be parents. We want to create a loving and nurturing environment for the child we’re blessed to adopt. We would love to get to know more about you and your child.

A Little About Us

We met through a mutual friend while Christina was visiting D.C. for a wedding over 10 years ago. Now we’ve been happily married for 8 years! Adoption has been on our hearts and part of our plans from the beginning of our relationship. We believe that every child deserves a stable, loving, nurturing home where they can grow up feeling accepted, supported, and encouraged. We’re excited about becoming first-time parents through adoption!

Together we enjoy:
• History and going to museums to learn about historical artifacts
• Traveling to learn about the cultures, customs, food, and people of the place we visit
• Quiet times at home to read and share with each other what we have been reading about
• Co-leading workshops through our church

This is Christina

Paul says: My wife is thoughtful, wise, attentive to detail, and has a selfless love toward others. She’s dedicated to empowering women to thrive in their faith, confidence, and God-given potential. It brings me joy to see her live out her calling. Christina is creative, whether she’s expressing it through writing, singing, or design. She also has a unique talent for storytelling and making the story vivid and real for the listeners. Christina has a balanced approach to life, knowing when to push herself and when to rest. I know she will be an extraordinary mother because of her genuine instinct to nurture and care for others, as well as her ability to be a supportive voice of reason and devotion to family.

Christina’s interests:
• Swimming
• Bike riding
• Writing
• Studying history
• Working out

This is Paul

Christina says: Paul is a man of integrity, honor, and humility. He walks into any space with the mindset of lifting up others. He is a true friend and a great leader. My husband is patient in any situation and faces challenges, uncertainties, and the demands of life with grace and a positive attitude, even under pressure. Paul is gentle with his words and easy to trust. I have no doubt he will be a patient, gracious, calm father who will lead our children throughout their lives.

Paul’s interests:
• Staying fit and active with running, taking a walk, or biking scenic trails
• Mentoring young men to walk in their God-given purpose
• Reading science fiction (especially Star Wars!)
• Volunteering at the food distribution center for needy families
• Building model airplanes

Our Home in Maryland

We live in Maryland, just outside of Washington DC, which means we get all the fun and tourist attractions of DC on the weekends (we love going to our favorite place in DC that overlooks the water), and still enjoy the quiet scenery of Maryland during the week. Our neighborhood is diverse, tight-knit, and in a quiet, beautiful suburban area. We know our neighbors well and everyone looks out for each other. There’s a horse farm down the road from us that’s fun to visit for the races, and peaceful to pass as we drive.

Our house is a four-bedroom townhome with a deck and small backyard perfect for summer barbecues. Inside it’s cozy, inviting, and spacious with a lot of natural light that keeps our home bright and open. We have a bedroom ready to convert into a nursery when we know more about the child we will be chosen to adopt. This will be a great place to raise our family!

Our Dog: Milo is our Goldendoodle puppy and he’s the best, fluffy little cuddle buddy (who LOVES any snacks he can get!). Our dog is super friendly and loves when the kids in our neighborhood want to play. Milo has been a fun addition to our little family.

Family Life

We both come from big families who stay connected and present in each other’s lives. We all look for ways to support and encourage one another. We’re big on quality time! Holidays, birthdays, and special occasions are always celebrated as a big group. Our families love to be social, which means they find any reason to get together for good food and a lot of great conversation. Paul’s family is local to us, so we see them more often. Christina’s family is in Canada. We have 10 nieces and nephews on Paul’s side who we love to keep up with. Everyone is excited about our plans to adopt!

Heartfelt Thoughts

As future adoptive parents, it’s already important to us to understand the unique trust it takes to be chosen to adopt a child. If we’re the right family for your child, we will make sure he or she grows up in a loving, nurturing home where they know they are cherished and supported. We promise to honor the trust you put in us by providing a stable, compassionate, and faith-filled environment your child can lean on throughout their life. In our care, we promise your child will always feel valued, secure, and that their unique identity is celebrated and respected.

We promise to take the responsibility entrusted to us to heart every day, committed to guiding this little one with wisdom, devotion, and the space to grow into who God has made them to be. We will teach the importance of kindness, honesty, and faith, helping him or her to know they are deeply loved. We’ll be their biggest cheerleaders and advocates! And you will always be spoken of highly, holding a special place in our hearts and family. We’re open to having future contact and would love to discuss what you think that could look like. Your child will always know their story is one of love and courage, shared openly from the start with deep love and sensitivity. We’ll raise him or her to understand how we came together and how proud we are to have been chosen, by you, as their adoptive parents.

It’s a blessing to be considered and we’re praying for you as you make plans for you and your child. We’d love to talk with you! Call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

Fun Facts About Us

Christina: I can speak 3 languages! I was born in Athens, Greece and lived there as a child. Greek culture is a huge part of my life that I cherish. I have also lived in Toronto, Canada, where my family still lives.

Paul: I have a large collection of refrigerator magnets from every country I’ve visited. I’ve explored 27 countries, many of which were for mission projects, and each magnet has a special memory.

What I Love About My Work

Paul: As a lead pastor, one of the things I enjoy most is meeting so many people, from different backgrounds and situations, and hearing their stories. I get to watch them grow in their faith and be confident in who God made them to be, which is deeply special to me.

Christina: In addition to pastoring, I am also a premarital counselor and love working with engaged couples. I get the privilege of being trusted to help couples prepare for marriage, as well as getting to see the people I help grow a stronger relationship. It’s so rewarding and a blessing to make an impact in this way.
