Hello! We are a faith-filled, loving couple who believes that family is one of God’s greatest blessings. Guided by Christian values, we strive to live each day with kindness, honesty, and gratitude. Our home is full of love, laughter, and quality time spent together. We’ve been praying for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption, and we are thankful that you are considering this path. Should you choose us, your child will be raised in a home grounded in faith, surrounded by love, and supported every step of the way.

A Little About Us

We met at church. We’re a down-to-earth, southern couple. We truly enjoy doing life together and try to make the most of every moment, whether we’re doing our daily devotion together, sitting on our front porch, heading to the mountains or the beach, catching a movie at the drive-in, or trying out new restaurants. Our life is full of love, laughter, and faith and we can’t wait to share it all with a child.

Both of us have always dreamed of becoming parents and adoption is something that has been on Holly’s heart for several years, and now Phil’s as well. Due to Holly being diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome back in her late teens, pregnancy has been a struggle for us. Doctors encouraged us to look into IVF treatments, but after much prayer we knew that God had something else for us in store. Adoption kept coming up and we both feel that the Lord has chosen us to grow our little family in this way. Just as God has adopted us as His sons and daughters, we want to be able to show this same love to a precious little one.

About Phil (from Holly's perspective)

My husband is a kind, steady, and loving man who leads our home with quiet strength and deep faith. He’s someone who lives out his values every day. He’s full of integrity, gentle with his words, and always ready to help others whether it’s lending a hand, helping around the house, or jumping in to help in the kitchen. He has a heart for carpentry and enjoys building things with his hands, whether it’s a new project around the house, for his job, or something just for fun. He’s also a big Alabama football fan. Saturdays in the fall are a tradition he looks forward to all year! One of his favorite habits is that he genuinely enjoys counting and wrapping coins. He doesn’t seek attention, but he shows love through his actions in the most meaningful ways. I know, without a doubt, that he will be the most patient, hands-on, and faith-filled father. He will be a safe place full of love and consistency for our child.

About Holly (from Phil's perspective)

My wife is the most kind-hearted, loving, and gentle person I’ve ever known. She has a beautiful spirit full of joy, grace, sensitivity, and strength, and she brings light to every room she walks into. She enjoys singing around the house, reading a good fiction book, and cuddling our 2 puppies. She makes the absolute BEST fried cornbread you’ll ever taste. Her faith in God guides every part of her life, and it shows in the way she loves others so deeply and serves with a genuine heart. She’s passionate about missions and has taken several trips overseas to serve people in need and share the love of Jesus. Holly is always putting others before herself, including the students she teaches every day. She has been an elementary school teacher for several years, which is a role that fits her perfectly. She’s patient, encouraging, and has a gift for helping kids feel seen and valued. She has a natural ability to make people feel cared for, and her warmth and sense of humor make her easy to talk to and even easier to love. She looks forward to creating a nurturing, faith-filled home. She will love unconditionally, speak life over our child, and support them every step of the way.

Our Home in Alabama

Our home is at the foothills of Cheaha Mountain in Alabama, surrounded by nature and a slower pace of life. We live in a small town where everyone knows each other. It’s the kind of place where neighbors wave and say hello, and people genuinely care about one another. It often feels like something out of a Hallmark movie, especially during the holidays.

Our house is cozy, just how we like it. It feels welcoming as soon as you walk in. One of our favorite parts of our home is the fenced-in backyard. It gives us privacy and is perfect for our two dogs, Pup and Ace, to run and play. Our dogs are so loving and cuddly. Pup is a rescue and Ace is a mix between a golden retriever and a cocker spaniel. Whether we’re relaxing on the back porch, enjoying a quiet evening inside, or spending time with family and friends, our home is a peaceful and happy place that really feels like our own.

Our Family

We’re a close-knit family, and we’re grateful for that. Our parents have shown us the value of love, strength, and putting family first, and their continued support in everything we do (including our adoption) continues to shape us. Our siblings are not just family, they’re our best friends and biggest supporters. One of our favorite family traditions is Sunday lunch after church, where we enjoy good food and time together. We also love celebrating holidays and birthdays with food, fun, and decorations.

Though our extended family is spread out, we stay connected through calls, texts, and reunions. Family vacations to the beach or mountains are especially meaningful. Whether we’re around a campfire or walking on the shore, those moments are filled with laughter and lasting memories. Wherever we are, being together feels like home.

Our Promise

We promise to raise your child in a home rooted in love, faith, and the unwavering grace of God. From the very beginning we have prayed for this child, and we believe with all our hearts that God has led us to you. You will always be honored, and we will speak of you with deep respect and gratitude. Your child will grow up knowing their story is part of a greater plan, one written with purpose, love, and divine guidance. We will share their journey with you through photos, letters, and updates, so you can witness the life you made possible. With God at the center of our family, we promise to nurture your child’s heart, faith, and future, always reminding them how deeply they are loved by so many.

We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family

Our Favorite Meals to Eat

We love spending time in the kitchen and sharing homemade meals together. Southern country cooking is a favorite in our home. There’s nothing better than a plate of cornbread, fried okra, corn, creamy mashed potatoes, and mac-n-cheese. We also enjoy cozy, comforting meals like chili and a variety of soups, especially during the cooler months. Whether we’re cooking something simple or trying a new recipe, mealtime is an important part of our day where we slow down, connect, and enjoy each other’s company.

Our Television Show Interests

When it comes to relaxing at home, we both enjoy watching a good TV show. Phil is a big fan of anything on HGTV. He loves home improvement shows, real estate series, and anything that involves renovating or flipping properties. Holly has a wide range of interests when it comes to TV. She especially enjoys crime dramas like Criminal Minds, Chicago PD, and Law and Order: SVU. We also love watching classic shows together. Some of our favorites are The Andy Griffith Show and Gunsmoke--timeless programs that bring us comfort and a little nostalgia. Watching TV is one of the ways we wind down, laugh together, and share each other’s interests.

Our Musical Interests

Music is a meaningful part of our lives and something we truly enjoy together. Our favorite genre is Contemporary Christian music. It inspires and encourages us daily. However, we enjoy a good southern hymn as well. Nothing can beat those old deep lyrics written with such experience and passion. Country music is another genre that we really enjoy, especially songs that tell a story or bring a smile during a drive or a cozy evening at home.

We also enjoy going to concerts. There’s something really special about sharing that experience together and being part of the energy that live music brings.

Holly especially has a deep love for music. She enjoys singing and often fills our home with her voice, whether it’s humming along to a favorite song or singing in the kitchen while cooking. She also plays a little piano and guitar, and loves exploring new instruments just for fun, especially those from other cultures. Music brings her joy, and she looks forward to sharing that passion with our child, such as singing lullabies, playing together, and dancing around the living room as a family.

Our Dream Travel Destinations

Travel is a big part of our lives and something we’re excited to share with our child. Together, we’ve already visited over 30 U.S. states and 5 continents, and one of our dreams is to visit all 50 states and all 7 continents as a family. We love exploring new cultures, trying different foods, and discovering both big cities and quiet, off-the-beaten-path places. Whether it’s a road trip across the U.S. or an international adventure, we believe travel helps us grow, connect, and make unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to experience the wonder of the world through a child’s eyes and create those memories together.

In Closing

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We know this is a deeply personal and courageous decision, and we’re praying for peace and clarity for you, whatever path you choose. If you feel led to choose us, please know that your child will be loved unconditionally, raised in a Christ-centered home, and surrounded by a supportive, close-knit family. We promise to provide a life filled with faith, love, laughter, and purpose.
