Sean & Jessica

Hi from Pennsylvania! We are a loving couple with open hearts ready to welcome our first child through adoption! We have been married for 3 years, have 2 dogs, and live in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Sean is a cancer research scientist and Jessica is a Physician Assistant.

We believe that family is built on love, trust, and support, and we are eager to provide a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for a child to thrive. Our home is filled with laughter, warmth, and shared experiences, and we can’t wait to welcome a little one into our lives to share in all the love we have to give.

About Us

We first crossed paths online in 2018, and after just a few dates, we knew we had found our partner for life. In 2022, we married in the beautiful countryside of Italy. Since then, we’ve cherished our adventures together, but our favorite moments are spent at home with our dogs. We love going on walks, exploring new restaurants, and cheering on Penn State football. We are each other’s best friend and enjoy doing daily life together. 

Now, we are eagerly anticipating the next chapter of our lives as parents, a dream we’ve always shared. We can’t wait to have dinners together, read bedtime stories, attend church on Sundays with our child, and create lasting family traditions—beach vacations, Christmas celebrations, and the simple joys of daily life.

About Jessica

Sean says: Jessica grew up immersed in sports, exploring the outdoors, and putting on impromptu dance and music performances for her family alongside her sister and cousins. From a young age, she knew that becoming a mother was her heart’s true calling. Her dream is to have a big, joyful family, where we can share adventures outside, cook together, and have singing and dancing parties around the house. She has a very nurturing nature and cares for all those around her. This is one of the things that makes her great at her job as a physician assistant. She is loving and selfless and will devote herself to our family and child’s needs.

About Sean

Jessica says: Sean is the youngest of 4 with an older brother and two older sisters. Sean was active in sports as a kid, playing both golf and baseball. He still enjoys golfing with his brother. He grew up with summertime trips to Cape Cod with his family and this is something he hopes to do with our child as well. Sean is looking forward to spending time with our child, taking them to sports, and playing outside. Sean is loving, smart, kind, and dependable. One of Sean’s greatest strengths is his ability to listen and observe. He will be the best dad and a very active part of our child’s life.

Our Family

On Sean’s side we have 6 nieces and nephews. Sean’s parents and sisters live about 2 hours away and we enjoy seeing them often. Jessica’s mom and sister live a town over from us and we enjoy getting together for dinners, coffee, and going to the farmer’s market. Jessica’s mom will play a big part in helping watch our child on the days Jessica works. Jessica’s extended family also lives close by including two of her cousins who have 7 kids between them and would love another buddy to join their cousin gang! We often have family gatherings and having strong family bonds is something that is very important to us.

Our families are very excited and supportive of us in this adoption journey!

Our Home in Pennsylvania

We live in a spacious three-bedroom home in the suburbs. Our neighborhood is full of young kids and is right next to a school. We live in a great area with lots of farms, parks, and nature preserves. We have a spacious, fenced-in yard that we love to spend time in with our two dogs, Pippa and Olive. We love the area we live in–we are close to both rural country-like areas and more populated areas that have any activity you can imagine. We also get to enjoy all 4 seasons. We plan on moving nearby in the next few years and would like a home with a few acres of land so we can have a big garden, chickens, and eventually goats.

We will provide a loving, nurturing, and safe environment for your child so that they will feel comfortable and confident growing into their true selves. We plan to provide opportunities for great education, sports, music, art, and whatever other activities they have interest in. They will be surrounded by love from our extended family and will grow up in a faith-based home.

They will grow up knowing their adoption story. We would love to have an open relationship with you, sharing pictures, letters, and occasional visits, or whatever you are comfortable with.
