Hello from Illinois! We’re Teddy and Anna — best friends who have been married for four years with two beautiful children.
Adoption has been on our hearts since we started dating. After experiencing 4 miscarriages, our hope to adopt has only grown. We both have family members who have adopted, and we’ve seen the beauty that comes from it.
We would love to meet you and learn about the hopes you have for your child.
About Us
We met 7 years ago when we were teaching for the same summer program. We became very good friends that summer and quickly knew we wanted to be together for the rest of our lives. We have loved getting to know each other more every day since.
A few things we enjoy doing together:
Most of all we enjoy spending quality time together as a couple and with our children. When our future baby arrives, we are looking forward to the cuddles and quiet time, and even the late-night diaper changes and feedings. We are so excited to bring him/her into our life as a family.

According to Teddy: Anna is a wonderful wife and mother. She is very passionate and loves taking on new challenges. She is the heart of our family and deeply knows each of us. She loves keeping our house a peaceful place where family and friends are always welcome. She often talks about how excited she is to introduce our next child to their older siblings. She looks forward to sharing her love of art with our next baby.

About Teddy
According to Anna: Teddy is the most patient man I know. He loves us fiercely and has always been the rock that holds our family steady. He is a jack of all trades; he has installed a new shower in our bathroom, as well as replaced car parts when they needed it. He loves learning and takes every opportunity to learn something new. He is very excited to teach our next child all about sports and can’t wait to get to play with them.

Our Family
We have 2 kids!
Charlie is our 3-year-old son. He is a sweet, silly, very smart little boy who loves all things dinosaurs, sports, and Lightning McQueen. He’s a lot like Teddy!
Francesca is our 10-month-old daughter. She is happy, bubbly, dramatic, and always on the move trying to keep up with Charlie.
Charlie and Francesca love visiting our families. They have LOTS of aunts & uncles! We love visiting extended family for cookouts, sporting events, apple picking, swimming, sledding, and lots of other fun seasonal activities.
Our Home in Illinois
We live in a 3-bedroom ranch house in northern Illinois. It has a big family room and plenty of living space. The house is on a corner lot with a big yard where we like to grill, have picnics, and enjoy bonfires. There are lots of trees and flowers, and so much space for the kids to run and play. We have a few local forest preserves and several parks that we like to go to as a family or meet our friends.
Our Promise
We promise to always love your child and make sure they truly know how loved they are by many. We promise to teach them about Jesus and the worth and dignity they have as a child of God. We are so excited to introduce them to Charlie and Francesca who will just adore their new sibling. We are looking forward to reading stories to all three kids, after dinner walks as a family of five, adding them to our kitchen dance parties, and introducing them to their wonderful aunts, uncles & grandparents.

More About Our Family
Our Extended Family
We both come from large families!
Anna is the second oldest of 10 kids and loves spending time at her family's house with her siblings. Her family is local to us, so we get to spend lots of quality family time with them.
Teddy is the fifth of 8 kids and loves working on remodel projects with his brothers and playing games and sports with his family. His family is in Wisconsin, and we visit on holidays and some weekends throughout the year.
There are lots of aunts and uncles on both sides and whenever we get together, we have so much fun with everyone.
Our Faith
Our Faith is the cornerstone to each of us individually and the foundation of our family. We both grew up in families where faith was a daily part of everything we did. Being Catholic we celebrate holidays and Holy days, baptisms and Sacraments. We pray together as a family and hold the hope that we will one day be together in heaven.
Our Musical Interest
We love listening to music and also singing together. Teddy plays the guitar and the piano and sings praise and worship music, and Anna sings along. Our favorite artists are Matt Maher, Sarah Kroger, and Jake Scott. Music is a daily occurrence in our house and wherever we drive.
When I was little I wanted to be...
Anna: When I was little the only thing I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a mom.
Teddy: I grew up wanting to be a cowboy and ride horses every day and would dress up in full cowboy clothes every morning.
