Hello from the Sunshine State! Thank you for taking the time to get to know us as we look forward to the joy of becoming first-time parents through the miracle of adoption. We’re honored to share a little about who we are and our heartfelt desire to provide a loving, nurturing home for a precious child. We hope our story gives you a meaningful glimpse into our lives and helps you in making the decision that’s right for you.
Who We Are
We’ve been best friends since childhood – our story started at church and has grown over the past 9 amazing years. After 3 years of marriage, our love and commitment to building a family have only grown stronger.
Our home is full of love (and a little fur!) thanks to our four sweet pets – Ellie, Blue, Korra, and Bear. They bring so much joy to our days and we just know they’ll be great companions for a little one. We love spending time with our nieces and nephews, especially going on fun outings to the science center or hanging out at the park.
Some of our favorite ways to unwind are cooking or baking together, spending time in the garden, or heading to the beach for some sun and waves. We’re big fans of hiking and cozy movie nights – with plenty of popcorn, of course! We can’t wait to share all these special moments with our future child.
Our faith is a big part of who we are. We attend church weekly and find so much strength and purpose in our spiritual community. We’re excited to raise a child with strong values, kindness, and the deep love that comes from both us and from God.
About Trung (Written by Rachelle)
Trung is a kind, thoughtful, and hard-working husband. He’s passionate about his work as a Software Engineer in the space industry, and we’re thankful that his job is remote and comes with generous paternity leave – giving him the chance to be fully present and hands-on as a dad.
Outside of work, Trung is always on the move! He loves staying active with sports like tennis and soccer, tending to our lawn, and working on woodworking projects in the garage. One of his favorite things to do is play with our nieces and nephews – he’s usually the one helping them across the monkey bars or chasing them around the playground.
Trung grew up in a big, loving household with his extended family. He was always helping out – whether it was teaching his younger cousin piano or tutoring her in math. He’s excited to do those same things with our child someday, along with bike rides, pool days, and fun visits to the local zoo. I know in my heart he’s going to be an incredible father.
About Rachelle (Written by Trung)
Rachelle is incredibly caring and nurturing. Becoming a mom has always been her dream, and every day she shows just how loving and family-centered she truly is. As a nurse, she continues to care for others with compassion and kindness – not just in our home, but in her everyday work. It’s clear that caring for people is simply a part of who she is.
At home, Rachelle shines in the kitchen – she loves trying out new recipes and baking pastries she finds on YouTube. Our house always smells amazing, and I know she’s excited to share those cozy, hands-on moments with our future child. She also enjoys crocheting and caring for our plants, adding warmth and creativity to our home.
As the eldest of four siblings, Rachelle naturally stepped into a nurturing role from a young age. Her younger siblings have always looked up to her, and she played a big part in raising them. I truly can’t imagine anyone more ready or more suited for motherhood.
Our Home in Sunny Florida
Our home in sunny Florida is situated in a community that is filled with many other families. As you drive around our community, you will often see families going on walks, children riding their bikes, or people hanging out at our community pool.
Our home is a 4-bedroom house with a fenced in yard, with plenty of space for our child to run around. It is in close distance to many local parks and even our downtown area with the best ice cream shop!
We live in the Central Florida area and as Disney Annual Passholders, we are looking forward to having our little one join us on our Disney days.
We have already started to prepare the nursery, equipped with items like a crib, stroller, and many toys.
Meet Our Family
Family is one of the most important things to us. We both grew up with large families. Both our families are excited and supportive of this new addition to our family, and are eagerly waiting to spoil them with love and affection. Your child will grow up with companionship from not only our pets, but they will have 4 playful and loving cousins: 3 nieces and 1 nephew. We all celebrate holidays together, go on family trips, and truly enjoy one another’s company.
Our Promise to You...
We want you to know that we are wholeheartedly committed to open communication with our child about their adoption story. They will grow up knowing they are loved by many.
We will raise our child with strong values of respect, empathy, and an appreciation for education. They will always feel loved by us and our extended family.
Adoption will forever be a part of our story, and we are grateful for the gift that it will bring to us and that God is entrusting us with.

More About Our Family
Our Take on Education
When it comes to education, we want it to be exciting and tailored to your child's uniqueness. We understand that everyone learns at their own pace, so we'll be there to help them every step of the way. Outside of the classroom, we're ready to get your child into activities like piano or soccer, or whatever peaks their interest. We'll create a space where learning is valued – cheering them on the entire way!
Our Plans for Childcare
Trung’s job is incredibly flexible, he works from home as a software engineer, and his company offers generous paternity leave, giving him plenty of time to bond and be present as a new dad. Rachelle is a registered nurse and plans to take time off when needed to care for our child and focus on those precious early moments together.
We’re also lucky to have a strong support system, with lots of family nearby (many of them experienced parents) who are ready to support us as we grow into our roles as first-time parents. Our future child will be surrounded by love, encouragement, and a close-knit community from day one.
3 Things on Our Bucket List
• See the Northern Lights
• Visit Europe
• Become parents
What Open Adoption Means to Us...
Adoption has been on my (Rachelle) mind since my teenage years, as my parents raised me to be giving and compassionate. I approached Trung with this dream early into our relationship and without hesitation, we knew that this would be a journey we would take together in life. We are overjoyed to be entering this journey WITH you and wholeheartedly understand the importance of sharing your child's adoption story with them.
In Closing
We are excited about the possibility of welcoming your child into our home, where they will be cherished and supported in all their dreams. We hope we have given you a glimpse into our hearts to help you feel the love that awaits your child in our family.
We are here to answer any questions you may have and to be on this journey together, should you choose us. We will honor any form of communication you wish to have in the future, whether that be through letters, photos, or yearly visits.
