Greetings from the Peach state and home of The Dawgs! We are a fun and active couple, both born and raised in Georgia. We love family, travel, music, animals, and being outside. We have one sweet and sassy five-year-old daughter, but we are unable to biologically have another child. We are excited, hopeful, and praying to one day expand our family with another child through adoption. Thanks for clicking our profile and watching our video. We are excited for you and your loved ones to learn about us. Please know that if you have any questions, you can reach out and ask us anything. We are an open book!
About Us (As told by Danielle)
We met on St Paddy’s Day in 2016 and we have been married for 8 years! If you asked the people we are closest with to describe us, they would say that we are down to earth, funny, loving, and open to new experiences. We try not to take ourselves too seriously and I feel like one of our strengths as a family is the ability to find the silver lining in tough situations.
Vincent is more shy and introverted while I am more of an extrovert! Since we are so different, we complement each other well and bring out the best in one another. We may be opposites in a lot of ways, but we both agree on our faith, fundamental values, and morals. The most important job we will ever have is keeping our children safe and protected. From the day Adelyn (our daughter) was born, we knew our priority would always be to make her feel loved and supported. This will also be the case with any child we are blessed enough to add to our family.
Together we enjoy:
- Trying new restaurants
- Comedy shows
- Taking walks
- Camping/Planning vacations
- Hosting a cookout or bonfire
- Watching “House Hunters” and “Flip or Flop”
- And of course, UGA football!
About Danielle (In Vincent's Words)
Vincent says: Danielle has this unique ability to keep a composed face during sad and tough situations when others need her most. Since she is a pediatric trauma nurse practitioner, she often sees the aftermath of terrible accidents and still is able to come home to our daughter, with nothing but a huge smile and big hug. I can guarantee that because of her career and vigilance, there is no safer home for a child. My wife brings out the best in people, and because of her, I’ve grown into the man, husband, and father that I always wanted to be. There is nothing that Danielle would not do for family and loved ones.
Her Personality/Strengths: Outgoing, emotionally intelligent, loyal, courageous, patient, and selfless
As a mother: Seeing Danielle with our daughter, and how much she adores her, warms my heart so much. She loves cheering her on at practice, making her laugh, and reminding her how much she is loved. She looks forward to reading to our future child all of our favorite bedtime stories, teaching him or her how to snow ski for the first time, and helping them with their first science project.
Danielle enjoys:
- Cooking
- Puzzles
- Reading
- Swimming
- Decorating
About Vincent (In Danielle's Words)
Danielle says: Vincent is the calm in the storm, the voice of reason, and the one you look for in an emergency. It takes a lot to get him stressed, so he grounds me when I get too worried. He is the kind of man that takes my mother’s garbage out, brings in her groceries, and remembers to save her a plate. He is the one his siblings call to help them move or when their car won’t start. When we first met, and money was tight, I would see Vince still stop to give the less fortunate a hot dinner.
His Personality/Strengths: Funny, hardworking, loyal, protective, charming, and a big teddy bear
As a father: He is so naturally protective. While he works in construction, when he is with our daughter he transforms into her tea party friend, her guest at the nail salon, and her personal arts and crafts assistant. Every Sunday, they have a daughter/daddy day and go to the indoor trampoline park. Vincent is excited to be able to teach another child how to swim, paint, and build sandcastles!
Vincent enjoys:
- Grilling
- Golf
- Laser Tag
- Welding
Our Family
Our local GA family includes Vincent’s mom and all 4 of his siblings. He has one niece and one nephew that live less then 10 minutes away. We try to get the whole family together at least twice a month for dinner and various activities for the kids.
While most of Danielle’s large family is located in Florida, her mother lives with us in our separate terrace level. She is also a retired NICU nurse. She is a very involved grandmother and would adore another grandchild to love on. Since she lives with us, our children do not have to attend daycare and will always be with a family member. Danielle’s younger brother also just moved back to GA, and lives about 5 mins away. He loves being an uncle and getting weekly lunches with Adelyn after preschool. The rest of Danielle’s family (aunts & uncles, cousins, and her cousins’ young children) are located in Florida. We go on many vacations down there to visit them.
Our daughter, Adelyn, turns five this year. She is very sweet and sociable and excited to be a big sister. She loves all things Disney, gymnastics, and her dance class. She goes to the church preschool 4 mornings a week.
Our Home in Georgia
We live in a 3-story, brick home 45 minutes from Atlanta. We are far enough from the city to avoid the busy traffic, but minutes away from everything we could ever need. We are very close to a hospital, our church, outdoor malls, movie theatres, schools, an aquatic center, and multiple parks. Our neighborhood is very family friendly with 2 pools, a splash pad, water slide, 2 playgrounds, and a volleyball court. We have spring and fall cookouts with bounce houses, food trucks, and a variety of kids activities. The neighborhood also has an annual Easter egg hunt, a July 4th party, and Breakfast with Santa at Christmas.
The two upper floors of our house include 4 bedrooms and a playroom. We have a large kitchen with a breakfast nook where we eat breakfast together every morning. Our fenced in back yard is where we drink our coffee and watch Adelyn play on her swing set or trampoline. This is also where we host grill outs or bonfires. The lower floor has an in-law suite where Danielle’s mother resides.
We have a dog named Panda that we rescued as a puppy, but we have been calling him “Pups” for the last 6 years and it just stuck. He’s a big goofball that enjoys being lazy and having his ears rubbed. We also just rescued a baby gecko named “Lizzy” that has been a wonderful pet for Adelyn to learn how to care for. Danielle’s mom has a chihuahua who enjoys sharing Adelyn’s snacks when she drops crumbs on the floor.
Our Promise
We will strive every day to make your child feel loved, safe, and supported. Your child’s future and your wishes for their future will be the most precious and important parts of our lives. We hope to pass on the importance of kindness, forgiveness, courage, and honesty to all of our children. No family is perfect, and we can’t promise we won’t make mistakes along the way, but we can promise to always be willing to learn, adapt, and listen!
We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family
Our Family Traditions
*Family Beach Thanksgiving-Every Thanksgiving, Danielle's family gets together at St. Pete Beach. Aunt Becky's bacon wrapped brussel sprouts and Nana's homemade Chex mix are always among the favorites. The kids love playing in the sand and the annual snowball fight (with fake fabric snowballs).
*February Birthday Month-Vincent, his mom, and his brother all have birthdays within two weeks of each other in February. So, they pick one day in the middle of the month and the whole family has a huge birthday celebration at a favorite restaurant.
*IHOP birthday breakfast-For the actual birthday day, whether it's on a weekday or a weekend, we take Adelyn to IHOP for breakfast for the birthday chocolate chip pancake with a smile made of chocolate chips.
*The Grinch and hot chocolate on Christmas Eve-Vincent's favorite holiday movie has always been The Grinch so we play it on repeat on Christmas Day. We have Grinch ornaments and decorations. We have started a new family tradition by also seeing who can make the best batch of hot chocolate on Christmas Eve.
Why We Chose Open Adoption
Family is important and we believe that it takes a village to raise children. We want the special child we adopt to know as much love as possible. We realize that you being a part of your child's life, if you desire, is irreplaceable. Adoption for us means that we get to have many seats at our Thanksgiving table and lots of cheering for our child's milestones. We will always welcome you with open arms and consider you part of the family, if you choose to be.
Our Faith
Our faith is important to us and is the foundation of our marriage. We are excited to share the love of Jesus with any child who comes into our home. To us, Jesus embodies love, kindness, honesty, and empathy. These are the traits that we will strive to instill in any child we should be blessed enough to adopt.
When we lost our baby girl at week 18 of pregnancy, our faith was the only reason we were able to keep going. We trusted that God had other plans for us, and we are praying God adds to our family through adoption!
3 things on our bucket list
*Go to Disney World
*Visit Greece
*Sno Ski in Lake Tahoe
