Watch Our Video

Hello from Louisiana! We are excited to become first-time parents through adoption. We are an active couple who love our two dogs and enjoy spending time with loved ones. We cherish our faith, relationships, health, learning, and laughter. We look forward to getting to know you and building a relationship at your comfort level.

Our Story

Our story started with a sweet surprise kiss in 2011! We’re high school sweethearts who have been happily married for five and a half years and have been together for fourteen. Even as teenagers, we shared dreams about our future and a desire to adopt. After facing infertility, we felt a strong sense of guidance from God toward the path we’ve always envisioned.
Growing up side-by-side, we’ve enjoyed many adventures in different places through the Army and our travels. Although we’re originally from Louisiana, we’ve been fortunate to call Colorado, Alaska, and North Carolina our homes. Our two dogs add so much joy to our lives—not just to us, but to our entire family.

You can often find us:

  • Enjoying a beach day
  • Working out
  • Watching LSU (Geaux Tigers!)
  • On an ice cream date
  • Traveling
  • Curled up on the couch for movie night

  • About Natalie

According to Zach: Natalie is the most loving and kind-spirited person I know. She’s spontaneous, funny, encouraging, and outgoing. Nat makes friends easily wherever we move and never hesitates to hop on a plane to visit them. Spur-of-the-moment adventures? Natalie is your girl! She’s known to buy same-day concert tickets or wake up one morning and declare a road trip. Natalie is spontaneous yet organized and loves having fun with friends and family.

Natalie is an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She enjoys helping her patients regain independence in their daily routines and interests. Natalie loves kids and has always dreamed of becoming a mom. Her favorite job was nannying for a new mom for a year when we lived in Colorado. She enjoys helping and babysitting friends’ children. Natalie is my constant example of a warm heart and a kind soul. I know she will make an incredible mom.

    You can often find Natalie:

  • Kayaking
  • Reading
  • Skiing
  • Watering her plants
  • Crocheting
  • Cheering on the Tigers!

  • About Zach

According to Natalie: Zach’s curiosity is one of his most valuable traits; he is constantly learning and expanding his interests! I love his goofy side, his sense of humor, and his desire to provide for our family. His kindness and compassion for others do not go unnoticed. Zach is my rock and safe place. I look forward to seeing him take on his role as a father!

Zach is an Endodontist and a Captain in the Army. He can talk to anyone, which makes him a personable and trustworthy doctor. Zach has a deep love for dogs, exercising, good food, and all things “The Office”!

When he’s not treating his patients’ toothache, he enjoys:

  • Going to the gym
  • Working on his truck
  • DIY projects
  • Listening to podcasts
  • Reading
  • Watching LSU football

  • Our Family

We are both only children! Needless to say, our family is ecstatic to welcome a baby into our lives. Our immediate family all live within one hour of each other in Louisiana; however, we have extended family and friends throughout the US whom we often visit or travel to see. We visit home often, and our family takes turns visiting us and exploring our community. We are very fortunate to have the constant support and encouragement we receive from our loved ones. They are most excited to share traditions, celebrate holidays, and create new memories!

Traditions and family activities we look forward to sharing with our child:

  • Yearly beach trips with both sides of the family
  • Natalie’s Fourth of July family reunion
  • Easter kayaking trip with Natalie’s dad
  • Making Christmas pecan rolls with grandparents
  • Movie nights and woodworking with Zach’s dad
  • Large holiday gatherings with Zach’s extended family for all holidays
  • Crawfish boils

  • Our Home in Louisiana

We live in a 4-bedroom, single-level home with an open floor concept. We love spending time in our fenced-in yard with our dogs. We have a pergola-covered back patio with overflowing muscadine vines that creates a beautiful, shaded area in the summer where many birds and wildlife visit. We live in a family-friendly neighborhood near a community park. Our neighborhood is often buzzing with children playing basketball, families riding bikes, and couples walking their dogs.

We are a couple of hours’ drive from family in north Louisiana. We enjoy football weekends in Baton Rouge, time spent with friends in New Orleans, and the occasional day trips to Lake Charles for a nice meal. Natalie’s favorite place in town is the local coffee shop, and Zach enjoys the Cajun restaurants.

    Our Promise

We promise to provide a loving, supportive, and encouraging environment full of hope and joy for your child. We promise to nurture their minds and provide them with the best possible opportunities for learning and personal growth. We will cherish every moment, big or small. We will guide them in faith. We will love them unconditionally and always support their dreams and desires. We will teach them about you and their adoption story, never letting them doubt the love you have for them. We invite you to an open adoption, supporting the level of contact you desire.

We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

    More About Our Family

    Our Pets

Our dogs are a large part of our family. We have an 11-year-old teacup Chihuahua (no, she's not mean!). She is the life of the party and the sweetest, most loving pup you will ever meet! She loves to give kisses. Our friends often refer to her as the queen because she is definitely in charge. We also have a 6-year-old mini–Australian Shepherd. We may be biased, but he is B-E-A-U-tiful! He is a sweet, protective boy who will never decline an invitation to play! They have both been around various children of all ages and enjoy the extra love!

    Our Faith

Our Catholic faith is central to our lives and provides the framework for how we live. We both grew up in faith-based communities and attended Christian daycares and schools. We have both participated in Catholic retreats and grown tremendously in our faith over the years. Last year, we listened to Fr. Mike Schmitz's "The Bible in a Year" together, and this year we are listening to "The Catechism in a Year" and praying the rosary nightly. We attend mass every Sunday and are dedicated to providing your child with the same love and understanding of our Lord.

Things we look forward to as parents

    Natalie
    - Contact naps! I love having a child feel safe in my arms and forming a connection. Plus, I could use the nap!
    - Witnessing their imagination and exploration of their environment.
    - Building forts, nighttime dance parties, and enjoying sweet treats.
    - Sharing goofy jokes and listening to their laughter.

    Zach
    - Answering all their many questions.
    - Enjoying sports and playing in the yard.
    - Building things with them.
    - Starting new family traditions.
    - Teaching them how to brush their teeth!

3 things on our bucket list

    1. Be owners of an endodontic practice
    2. Visit the Vatican
    3. Hot air balloon ride over snow capped mountains

    In Closing

We are grateful for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption! We look forward to becoming first-time parents and are excited to share all our favorite things with your child while creating memories and new traditions. Above all, we promise to love your child unconditionally. You are in our prayers, and we can't wait to get to know you!
