Watch Our Video

Hello from NC! We are thrilled to become first time parents through adoption! We are an active couple who adore our two dogs and time with loved ones. We value our faith, relationships, health, learning, and laughter! We look forward to getting to know you and creating a relationship at your comfort level.

Our Story

It all started with a surprise kiss in 2011! We are high school sweethearts that have been married for 4 years and together for nearly 13! We often spoke about our future as young teens, including our mutual desire to adopt. After experiencing infertility, we felt God was leading us down the path we always talked about. We have had the opportunity to grow up together and explore various places through the Army and personal travel. We are originally from Louisiana, but we have been blessed to live in beautiful communities in Colorado, Alaska, and North Carolina. We have 2 friendly dogs that are loved by our entire family.

You can often find us:

  • Enjoying a beach day
  • Working out
  • Watching LSU sports (GEAUX TIGERS!)
  • On an ice cream date
  • Traveling
  • Curled up on the couch for movie night

About Natalie

According to Zach: Natalie is the most loving and kind-spirited person I know. She’s spontaneous, funny, encouraging, and outgoing. Nat makes friends easily wherever we move, and never hesitates to hop on a plane to visit them. Spur of the moment adventure? Natalie is your girl! Natalie is known to buy same-day concert tickets or wake up one morning and declare a road trip. Natalie is spontaneous yet organized and loves having fun with friends/family.

Natalie works as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She enjoys helping her patients regain their independence in their daily life routines and interests. Natalie loves kids and has always dreamed of being a mom. Her favorite job was nannying for a new mom for a year when we lived in Colorado. She loves helping and babysitting friends’ children. Natalie is my constant example of a warm heart and a kind soul. I know she will be an incredible mom.

You can often find Natalie:

  • Kayaking
  • Reading
  • Skiing
  • Watering her plants
  • Cheering on the Tigers!

About Zach

According to Natalie: Zach’s curiosity is one of his most valuable traits; he is constantly learning and growing in his interests! I love his goofy side, his sense of humor, and his desire to provide for our family. His kindness and compassion for others does not go unnoticed. Zach is my rock and safe place. I cannot wait to see him embrace his role as a father!

Zach is currently an Endodontist in the Army. He has the ability to talk to anyone, which makes for a personable and trusting doctor. Zach has a deep love for our dogs, food, and all things “The Office!”

When he is not relieving others’ tooth pain, he enjoys:

  • Working on his car
  • Completing DIY projects
  • Listening to podcasts
  • Watching LSU football
  • Talking Natalie into joining him in the gym

Our Family

We are both only children! Needless to say, our family is ecstatic to welcome a baby into our lives. Our immediate family all live within one hour of each other in Louisiana, however, we have extended family and friends throughout the US who we often travel to or with. We visit home 1-3 times per year and our family takes turns visiting us and exploring our community. We are very blessed with the constant support and encouragement we receive from our loved ones! They are most excited to share traditions, celebrate holidays, and create new memories!

Traditions and family activities we look forward to sharing with our child:

  • Yearly beach trips with both sides of the family
  • Natalie’s Fourth of July family reunion
  • Easter kayaking trip with Natalie’s dad
  • Making Christmas pecan rolls with grandparents
  • Movie nights and woodworking with Zach’s dad
  • Large holiday gatherings with Zach’s extended family for all holidays
  • Crawfish boils

Our Home in North Carolina

We live in a 3-bedroom, single level home with an open floor concept. We love spending time in our fenced-in yard with our dogs. We have a planter box in the backyard that we fill with wildflowers that attract beautiful butterflies and hummingbirds. We have a bird feeder we enjoy watching from our comfy couch. We live in a family-friendly and walkable neighborhood with a community park. Our neighborhood is often buzzing with children playing basketball, families riding bikes, and couples walking their dogs!

We are a couple hours drive from the East coast beaches and the mountains. We enjoy lazy beach days and making day trips to the Charlotte or Raleigh areas for a nice meal, a concert, the large farmer’s market, or a self-guided museum tour. Natalie’s favorite place in our town is the cupcake shop and Zach enjoys the live music at our local BBQ restaurant!

Our Promise

We promise to provide a loving, supportive, and encouraging environment full of hope and joy for your child. We promise to nurture their minds and provide them with the best possible opportunities for learning and personal growth. We will cherish every moment, big or small. We will guide them in faith. We will love them unconditionally and always support their dreams and desires. We will teach them about you and their adoption story, never letting them doubt the love you have for them. We invite an open adoption and support the level of contact you desire.

We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family

Our Pets

Our dogs are a large part of our family. We have a 10-year-old teacup Chihuahua (no, she's not mean!). She is the life of the party and most loving pup you will ever meet! She loves to give kisses. Our friends often refer to her as the queen because she is definitely in charge. We also have a 5-year-old mini–Australian Shepherd. We may be biased, but he is B-E-A-U-tiful! He is a sweet, protective boy that will never decline an invitation to play! They have both been around various children of all ages and enjoy the extra love!

Our Faith

Our Catholic faith is central to our lives and provides the framework for how we live. We both grew up in faith-based communities and attended Christian daycares and schools. We have both participated in Catholic retreats and grown tremendously in our faith over the years. We are currently listening to "The Bible in a Year Podcast" by Fr. Mike Schmitz and pray the rosary nightly. We attend mass every Sunday and are dedicated to providing your child with the same love and understanding of our Lord.

Things we look forward to as parents

Natalie
- Contact naps! I love having a child feel safe in my arms and forming a connection. Plus, I could use the nap!
- Witnessing their imagination and exploration of their environment.
- Building forts, nighttime dance parties, and enjoying sweet treats.
- Sharing goofy jokes and listening to their laugh.

Zach
- Answering all their many questions.
- Enjoying sports and playing in the yard.
- Building things with them.
- Starting new family traditions.
- Teaching them how to brush their teeth!

3 things on our bucket list

1. Open our own endodontic practice
2. Visit the Vatican
3. Hot air balloon ride over France
