How Do I Choose an Adoptive Family?
Find a family for your baby of any race from states all across the U.S. Each family has different interests, talents, and education levels. Let your coordinator know what’s important to you, and she can help you find waiting families that have the qualities you’re looking for.
Lifetime coordinates communications between birth mothers and adoptive families. Depending on your preferences, we can arrange conversations via telephone or email. You will decide whether a particular family is right for your baby.
Of course, all our prospective adoptive families have passed screenings and background checks.
You can also choose what takes place at the hospital. You’re the one giving birth, so you get to choose who is in the delivery room, who cuts the cord, and whether you hold your newborn.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
- You can call or text us at 1-800-923-6784 and speak with a coordinator to begin your adoption plan. She will ask you questions and gather information.
She’ll then send you a private adoption packet of information by email or mail. This includes info about specific families who are open to adopting your baby.
