Sometimes what seems like adverse circumstances are really planned growth opportunities. Trusting God daily and letting go of how you will get to the destination has to become habit. Every day, make sure that you affirm your trust in God no matter what seems to be a deterrent.
Sometimes we forget God is able to do far more than we ask for or can imagine. If someone would have told me 27 years ago that today we would be helping hundreds of babies and children find forever adoptive homes each year , I don’t know if I could have handled the heavenly concept back then. I am glad I had the mustard seed of faith that He would enlarge my adoption plans to create adoptive families today. The path meant putting one foot in front of the other and getting back on track when I felt alone and lacking trust.
We are human, but the good thing is we can quickly get back on the road and once again know He has it all handled. It’s exciting now to see small and large events we didn’t expect. Here at Lifetime, there is never a dull moment: we have a long history of miracles and amazing adoption stories. This helps us all and will hopefully help you to “keep the faith”.
So be strong, have faith, and learn to start each day with prayer and a positive expectation. Know that there is no limit to what God can accomplish in your life. Be mindful of having a thankful heart and look forward with faith.
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

“Many years ago, I was also searching for a child to adopt. We didn’t know where or how to get started. Through research, determination, and a prayer, our dream of a family became reality. I started with a plan, a notebook, assistance from a caring adoption consultant and a lot of hard work; this was my family I was building. We had a few heartaches along the way, but the pain of not having children was worse!
Within weeks we had three different birth mothers choose us. We were overwhelmed and delighted. Many unsettling events would take place before our adoption would be finalized, many months later. Little did I know that God was training and aligning me for the adoption work I now do today. It is my goal to share with our families the methods and plans which succeed and do not succeed. I believe adoption should be affordable and can be a wonderful “pregnancy” for the adoptive couple.
I have also been on both sides of infertility with the loss of seven pregnancies and then conceiving by new technology, giving birth to a healthy daughter. I have experienced first-hand the emotional pain of infertility and believe my experience allows me to serve your needs better.
It is my hope that for you, the prospective parents, your desire for a child will be fulfilled soon.”
