Welcome from the sunshine state (Florida)! Thank you for taking the time to discover our family and to experience some of the things we love through our eyes! Spoiler alert, it is a lot of exploring and fun in the sun, as well as a whole lot of love for our four dogs!

We are looking forward to getting to share our love with new members of our growing family (including you!) and hope to learn what vision you have for your child. We hope you can feel all the fun we had creating our site, and we would love the chance to speak with you further.

About Us

  • We have been together for 7 years.
  • We met through Dominick’s best friend who worked with Stephanie and introduced us on multiple occasions at work gatherings.
  • Since the beginning of our relationship, we have both wanted to adopt.
  • After we got married, we decided we were ready to start the adoption process!
  • As a couple we love to play sports together, specifically volleyball, and travel to new places. We are especially fond of the mountains of North Carolina where we got married.
  • We spend a lot of time improving our home.
  • We are incredibly excited to welcome a baby to our home and experience all the beautiful things our area has to offer through the eyes of a child.

  • She played college and professional volleyball and lived abroad in Switzerland for two years.

  • Family has always been a top priority for her as she moved back to Florida to be close to her parents, brother, and sister.

    According to Stephanie:

  • Dominick was born and raised in Arizona.
  • He is handy, ambitious, and funnier than I am (according to him!).
  • His dad was adopted, which sparked Dominick’s desire to adopt.
  • He went to college to become a PGA golf professional, which he was for 5 years.
  • He loves to learn new things and take on challenges (usually BIG ones).
  • He enjoys working on our house and performing remodels, including renovating the entire kitchen.
  • He loves animals and children.
  • He loves his family and hopes a grandchild will be the push his parents need to move closer to us.
  • Dominick looks forward to family dinners and game nights.
  • Dominick is excited to rediscover the world through the eyes of a child.

    • Our Family

    Our family is large and diverse!

  • Stephanie is the oldest of three kids; her younger brother and sister still live in Florida 2 hours away.
  • She has extended family in New York.
  • Dominick’s mom lives near his grandmother and her siblings in Arizona.
  • His dad and stepmom live in Florida 2 hours away.
  • His sister lives in Texas.
  • He has two stepsisters; one lives in Florida, and the other lives in Alabama.
  • We see our families often and love to celebrate holidays together.
  • We take a family vacation every summer with Stephanie’s family.
  • We split holidays between different sides of the family, so we see everyone as much as possible.

  • Our house has a view of the river from our backyard and is close to a downtown area with lots of activities and events.
  • We have a two-bedroom house with a den/office.
  • We have a large, grassy backyard with fruit trees and space to play.
  • Our neighborhood is quiet, and we have friendly neighbors. A majority of the houses are filled with young families that have small children.

    More About Our Family

    Our Hobbies

    -Being active! We love to do outdoor activities, whether it is being out on a boat during a family vacation or playing beach volleyball.

    -Dominick loves to cook and try new recipes so all of our family and friends can come together for a great meal. His expertise is Italian food, specifically red sauce with meatballs and Italian sausage!

    -Stephanie loves to read, garden, and play with our dogs. She will either take them on a walk or throw the ball for them in the yard every day. She also loves to bake any chance she gets, and her favorite thing to bake is chocolate chip cookies.

    Our Dogs

    -The smallest is a Jack Russell Terrier named Leonidis (Leo for short). He loves to snuggle between us and chase lizards any chance he gets.

    -Aria is a Mini-Pinscher Mix who loves to curl up in her bed while she is inside but loves to run around and chase sticks while she is outside. She is very friendly with people and other dogs.

    -Rhea is a Yellow Lab mix and our wild child. She loves to bark and chase her sisters around the yard. She is the guard dog in the house, but loves people once she meets them.

    -Shade is our biggest dog (but also the baby of the pack). She is a Golden Retriever and German Shepherd mix and loves people and other dogs. She also loves to chase the ball and will even drop it over the fence so the neighbors can throw it for her as they walk by.

    All of our dogs are very loving and gentle with children.

    Our Favorite Trips

    -We love to spend the weekend at Universal Studios enjoying Harry Potter World and roller coasters.

    -On long weekends, we like to travel to North Carolina for great food, hiking, and to enjoy the mountains.

    -Once a year, we travel to Arizona to visit with family. This year, we attended the NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four in Phoenix!

    -Every Thanksgiving, we travel to South Carolina to visit with family and explore Charleston.

    -Stephanie has traveled around Europe, and we both hope to visit Greece, Norway, and Italy in the future.

    Something We Find Important

    We believe that culture and tradition are incredibly important! Dominick's dad was adopted into a large Italian family, and he loves the old Italian traditions of "Sunday Sauce" with meatballs and garlic bread. We believe that everyone should have a chance to celebrate who they are and what they love, so we are excited to pass that along in our family, as well as incorporate some new traditions!

    In Closing
