Dominick & Stephanie

Welcome from the sunshine state (Florida)! Thank you for taking the time to discover our family and to experience some of the things we love through our eyes! Spoiler alert, it is a lot of exploring and fun in the sun, as well as a whole lot of love for our four dogs!

We are looking forward to getting to share our love with new members of our growing family (including you!) and hope to learn exactly what vision you have for your child. We hope you can feel all the fun we had creating our site, and we would love the chance to speak with you further. Enjoy!

About Us

• We have been together for 5 years.
• We met through Dominick’s best friend who worked with Stephanie and introduced us on multiple occasions at work gatherings.
• Since the beginning of our relationship, we have both wanted to adopt.
• After we got married, we decided we were ready to start the adoption process!
• As a couple we love to play sports together, specifically volleyball, and travel to new places. We are especially fond of the mountains of North Carolina where we got engaged.
• We spend a lot of time improving our home.
• We are incredibly excited to welcome a baby to our home and experience all the beautiful things our area has to offer through the eyes of a child.

About Stephanie

According to Dominick:

• Stephanie is smart, beautiful, and funny.
• She was born and raised in Florida.
• She has a gentle heart and radiates love to everyone she comes in contact with.
• She has amazing work ethic and always gives 110%.
• She played college and professional volleyball and lived abroad in Switzerland for two years.
• She loves to spend time with our dogs, her friends, and her family.
• Family has always been a top priority for her as she moved back to Florida to be close to her parents, brother, and sister.
• She will be an amazing mother and looks forward to growing together and discovering the child’s passions.
• Stephanie most looks forward to snuggles, Disney World trips, and sharing her love for animals with our child.

About Dominick

According to Stephanie:

• Dominick was born and raised in Arizona.
• He is handy, ambitious, and funnier than I am (according to him!).
• His dad was adopted, which sparked Dominick’s desire to adopt.
• He went to college to become a PGA golf professional, which he was for 5 years.
• He loves to learn new things and take on challenges (usually BIG ones).
• He enjoys working on our house and performing remodels, including renovating the entire kitchen.
• He loves animals and children.
• He loves his family and hopes a grandchild will be the push his parents need to move closer to us.
• Dominick looks forward to family dinners and game nights.
• Dominick is excited to rediscover the world through the eyes of a child.

Our Family

Our family is large and diverse!

• Stephanie is the oldest of three kids; her younger brother and sister still live in Florida.
• Growing up, and still today, Stephanie helps care for her brother who has physical and mental disabilities.
• She has extended family in New York.
• Dominick’s family is spread out in multiple places across the country.
• His mom lives near his grandmother and her siblings in Arizona.
• His dad and stepmom are moving to Florida soon.
• His sister lives in Texas.
• He has two stepsisters; one lives in Florida, and the other lives in Alabama.
• We see our families a few times a year, usually around holidays or while traveling for vacation.
• We take a family vacation every summer with Stephanie’s family.
• We split holidays between different sides of the family, so we see everyone as much as possible.

Our Home in Florida

• Our house has a view of the river from our backyard and is close to a downtown area with lots of activities and events.
• We have a two-bedroom house with a den/office.
• We have a large, grassy backyard with fruit trees and space to play.
• Our neighborhood is quiet, and we have friendly neighbors. A majority of the houses are filled with young families that have small children.
• We plan to build an addition to the house in the future to accommodate a growing family and visiting relatives.
