Franklin & Angel

Greetings!

Thank you for taking a few minutes to learn about us.  We are a family of three from Georgia and are excited to share our lives with your child.  Our 7-year-old daughter, Lauren Grace, is eagerly anticipating the day of becoming a big sister.  We enjoy traveling, playing family games, and worshipping in church together.  We are thrilled to grow our family through adoption and look forward to loving, nurturing, and spending quality time with your child.

We are hoping to adopt from any of the following states FL, GA, AL, TN, SC, and NC.

About Us

We met at a church conference and have been married going on 15 years!  Franklin is an elementary school teacher and Angel is a cardiology nurse practitioner.  We absolutely love traveling!  One of our favorite places to visit is the beach.  We also consider ourselves foodies and enjoy frequenting new and exotic restaurants.  Nothing brings us greater joy than making memories with our daughter.  We enjoy going to amusement parks together, to outdoor festivals, seeing movies, going to the park, and exploring exhibits and museums.  We’re excited to include your baby in all these activities and look forward to the lifelong birthdays, graduations, family vacations, and memories we will make along the way with him or her!

About Franklin

Franklin is truly a man after God’s own heart. Throughout the 15 years of marriage, he has proven to be kind, gentle, patient, and caring. He goes above and beyond in all that he does to make sure that his family is taken care of.  Not only is he my pastor, but also a true confidant.  He is a loving father to our daughter and shows her the true, pure, and genuine love of a father.  Franklin has been an elementary teacher for the past 13 years and has a passion for seeing children thrive. He has an incredible singing voice and is noted as a lyricist that writes messages of hope and healing to the world. I love watching him laugh uncontrollably and spend time with us. He is an excellent husband and devoted father. I know with certainty our next child will be surrounded by the “love of the heavenly Father” and an earthly father that knows the love of the Father.

About Angel

Angel is the most loving, kind-hearted, and giving person I know.  She gives over 100 percent in everything she does – whether that’s caring for her patients, leading and encouraging the parishioners at our church or, most importantly, being an awesome wife and mother!  Angel is an amazing cook and loves to prepare Sunday dinner for our family.  She also enjoys do-it-yourself projects, where most of the artwork and interior decorating in our home were done by her.  She plays the piano beautifully and has an “Angelic” voice to go along with it.  Angel has the most beautiful smile, a great sense of humor, and loves to share her passions with our daughter.  I have fond memories of her humming lullabies to Lauren and stroking her hair, reassuring her of her presence and reaffirming her love for her.  I look forward to the day when she will do the same for our next child.

Our Daughter and Family

Our daughter, Lauren Grace, is seven years old and looks forward to the day when she can meet her baby brother or sister!  Our little one will be loved and surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins, where most of them live in Georgia and the surrounding southern states.  Franklin’s mother also lives with us.  Affectionally known as Nana, she is the treasured matriarch of our family and embraces all her children and grandchildren with an immeasurable amount of love and affection.

Our Home in Georgia

We have a traditional four-sided brick, two-story home with plenty of living space.  In our subdivision, there is a community tennis court and pool with plenty of sidewalk space for walking and riding bikes.  Our house has four bedrooms with two and a half bathrooms and is decorated with rich artwork and eclectic DIY pieces that reflect our personal style and culture. We also have a finished basement that includes an entertainment space and a recreational area.  We are in the process of remodeling one of the bedrooms to become the nursery with calming earth tone colors.  We are intentional with every room in our home and treat it as a sanctuary dedicated to the Lord so his presence is felt by all.

Our Promise

Our promise to you is to ensure your child will be loved unconditionally and to raise him or her in the admonition of knowing and establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We will be your child’s biggest cheerleader and encourage them to live to their fullest potential – being everything God has called them to be.  Although we haven’t met yet, we are so blessed to be bound by God’s love and are excited for the journey that lies ahead in raising this gift He has given us through you.  We look forward to getting to know you and welcome you as a part of our family.
