Thanks for taking the time to get to know us!
We became parents for the first time almost 5 years ago when we adopted our son, Isaiah. Now that he’s a little older, we feel it’s time to complete our family with a second child. The joy, laughter, and love our son brings to our lives is incredible, and we just know that another child would complete our family and bless us in all-new ways. We would love to connect and are open to sharing visits at your comfort level.

Our prayers are that you find the right family for you and your baby, that God will lead your heart to where it should go, and that you will find peace and confidence in the decision you make.

Our Story

We met through mutual friends at a Rugby tournament we were both playing at 10 years ago and knew immediately we were meant for each other, and we’ve been a team ever since. We’ve been married for 8 years now and have one son, Isaiah, who we absolutely love and adore.

Our priorities are God, family, education, and enjoying each moment with each other as best as we can. We enjoy going on walks/bike rides through our family-friendly neighborhood, going to church and volunteering together, and spending time in our local community. We also enjoy hiking and camping in the mountains, traveling domestically or internationally, experiencing new cultures/foods, and watching comedies or action movies after a yummy home-cooked meal. Sundays are definitely our fun family days! We are surrounded by supportive family and friends.

We’re so excited to grow our family and teach your child how to swim and ski, cook, love, and laugh. We will empower them to trust in the Lord and grow up to be anything they want to be.

About Jonathan

Jonathan is a great father and husband. He loves his job as an Industrial Developer and works so hard to provide for our family. Both of Jonathan’s parents served in the Air Force for over 20 years, and he’s always looked up to their work ethic, marriage, and how they poured into him as he was growing up and even now.
Jonathan is an all-around athlete who loves playing rugby, snow and water skiing and golfing with his friends. He also works as a high school youth leader at our church and loves pouring into these young men as they navigate through high school.

He enjoys grilling and doing work around the house. One of his favorite things is being a father, and he has a very special bond with Isaiah, who looks up to him. Jonathan’s excited to welcome your child into the family and continue to be a loving and supportive father.

About Maria

Maria is kind, responsible, and meant to be a mother. The way that she takes care of our entire family and the people in our community shows how nurturing she is. She would drop anything to help anyone in need.
Maria has always been an athlete and has played professional rugby. She enjoys golfing, hiking, water and snow skiing, and teaching our son how to play baseball. She also enjoys singing, traveling, and, most importantly, family movie nights. She loves teaching our son how to cook and is excited to have another little helper in the kitchen.

Maria was adopted as a newborn and understands the type of love, care, and commitment it takes. She has loved being able to talk to our son about both of their adoptions and is excited to tell your story to your child.

Big Brother Isaiah

Isaiah (almost 5 years old) has been wanting to be a big brother for a couple of years now.  He’s excited to teach them how to play with cars, ride their bike, and read to them at bedtime. He’ll be the best big brother! He’s so caring, affectionate, and loving. He’s also excited to have someone to play with and grow up with. A close sibling relationship is what we’ll foster and encourage between Isaiah and your child. Isaiah loves helping Daddy with the yard work outside, cooking with mommy, baking with his grandma, and loves playing sports, and spending time outside with his friends.

Our Home in Georgia

We moved into our dream home 2 years ago. Our house has 4 bedrooms, one already being a nursery, and a giant grassy fenced-in backyard. We love spending time outdoors making s’mores by our fire pit, grilling, playing baseball in the front yard, and going on family bike rides. We also enjoy swimming in our neighborhood pool and spending time with great neighbors. All of our neighbors are so welcoming and everyone watches out for everyone as well. Many young families are moving here because of the highly rated schools, and it’s one of the safest cities as well. We are the same distance into the city as we are into the mountains. We often take day trips to museums, events, and cultural activities, as well as go hiking and camping. We share our home with our dog, Gwenie, and our cat, Henry. They are both great with children and have watched over our son since we brought him home.

Our Promise

We promise to spend the rest of our lives loving, supporting, empowering, and embracing your child unconditionally. Our marriage is based on love, tons of laughter, mutual respect, communication, patience, and lots of fun and family adventures! We will instill these values into your child and provide them with a quality education and an appreciation for all cultures. We will always speak of you with respect and look forward to sharing this journey with you. We would love to share updates and visits with you at your comfort level.

More About Our Family

Family Fun

We love spending tons of time together. For us, quality time at home is cooking, watching movies, or dancing around the house together. We’re the same distance into downtown Atlanta that we are to the Georgia Mountains, which has allowed us to explore the city as well as these fun mountain towns. We love bringing Isaiah to the Children’s Museum, Zoo, and Aquarium. We also love to explore fun restaurants and neighborhoods as well as sporting events when we can. We love the city, but also love the country and escaping to lakes or mountains. We love renting a boat in the summer as well as camping as a family. It brings back a lot of memories as a child for Maria. Maria grew up in MN and still has family up there. We take a yearly trip up to her parent’s lake cabin every August.

Our Pets

Our Dog’s name is Guinevere (Gwenie for short). We rescued her 5 years ago and she and Isaiah are the best of friends. She has watched him grow up and has always been very gentle with him.

Our Cat’s name is Henry. Maria rescued him when he was a tiny baby 10 years ago. He’s more like a dog than a cat and we love him so much.

Extended Family

We have close relationships with both sides of our extended families. Isaiah shares a special bond with all of his aunts,
uncles, cousins, and grandparents. We stay connected with our family and see each other at family gatherings throughout the year. Our families have always been so supportive of us and Isaiah as well as both of our adoption journeys. Everybody is excited to have another family member to love and join in on all the fun we have together.

In Closing

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about us, our family, and our life. Please know that we will love your child forever and ever. We will make sure they know how truly special they are and how they made the world a better place for so many people simply by being born. Finally, we are excited to explore a relationship with you moving forward and the type of interaction you desire to have as your baby grows.
