Adoption Stories Then and Now – Eric and Courtney

stories now and then Eric and CourtneyWe’re blessed to be sharing another adoptive couple’s heartwarming adoption story in our blog series “Then and Now.” Our Lifetime adoptive family today is Eric and Courtney from Texas.

As they started their adoption journey with Lifetime, they shared, “we have one amazing child…We’ve really prayed about it and feel like we are great parents and can be great parents to any child who needs us.  We feel like we can provide a stable, Godly home.”

We live in the great state of Texas, have a loving marriage of 9 years, and love being parents to our 5 year old son. We’ve longed to raise more children and we believe that we are being called to adopt our second child.

We are excited to grow our family and would love to adopt a baby of any race. If you’re comfortable, we’d enjoy learning more about you and the kind of open adoption you are seeking for your child.

As a family, we attend a culturally diverse non-denominational church, and we love knowing we are surrounded by people who love and support us. We enjoy spending time with our extended family too, as well as traveling, following sports, and listening to music. Our son, Zak, is looking forward to being a big brother.”

Eric and Courtney recently emailed their Adoption Coordinator, Veronica

“We wanted to let you know we are doing great! Bodhi is taking a few steps and likes to get to stuff.

His birth mother is doing well. We talk often and have met up with her too!”
