Hand-Lettered Spiritual Inspiration Artwork to Benefit Lifetime Foundation

filled with joy-blogHere at Lifetime, many of our staff have volunteered their personal time, donations, and talents to help the Lifetime Adoption Foundation serve birth mothers. This week our own Libby Denniston launched a project in her Etsy shop that combines her passion for modern calligraphy with the work we do through the Lifetime Foundation. Many of Lifetime’s followers will recognize Libby as a regular webinar hostess, but behind the scenes she also does a lot of our design for outreach and adoptive parent profiles, among other things.

In honor of Mother’s Day this month, Libby hand-lettered a spiritual inspiration verse from Psalm 9, and the proceeds from the sales of this art print will go to helping birth mothers through the Lifetime Adoption Foundation!

The Lifetime Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity that supports women who are choosing adoption for a newborn, infant, or young child, providing help for unplanned pregnancy and basic living needs, as well as Birth Mother Blessing care packs to tend to their hearts through a very difficult time. It also offers educational scholarships to birth mothers, as they seek healthy goals after their child’s adoption takes place.

Birth Mother’s Day is recognized on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. However, we think it’s reasonable they should be honored all weekend long, and beyond!

There are many reasons a woman may consider or choose adoption for her baby, most of which stem from the desire to give a child more than her current circumstances can provide. As Libby likes to say, “through open adoption, a birth mother can give the life she wants for her child, and create a future for herself.” In Lifetime’s experience with adoptive families and birth mothers, LOVE is always the common thread in the new story that unites them together, for a lifetime, through a child.

The Lifetime Adoption Foundation operates on private donations and volunteers, serving women and children across the US.

Order this print to celebrate a new baby or marriage, an adoption completed, a hopeful mom-in-waiting, a recent graduate, a new home, or to decorate any room. Its gray watercolor lettering reads:

“I will be filled with joy because of you.”
-Psalm 9:2

This print is a frame-worthy reminder for Christian homes to praise the everlasting Source of Joy! And, as a double meaning, a call to cherish those God puts around us, with whom to share a home, community, or family.
