Adoption Laws in Massachusetts

In Massachusetts, the timeline for legal documentation for adoption is as follows.

Consent to adoption cannot be executed until four days after the birth and is irrevocable upon execution.

At least three written references
A written statement from a doctor regarding the health of each member of the household
Documentation of birth certificates, marriage certificates, and/or divorce decrees
