Lifetime Adoption, a leading adoption center, will be opening their doors to the Yuba-Sutter community on August 6, 2013. This event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at 430 Palora Ave in Yuba City, CA 95991. Ambassador, Wendy Zapata, from Senior Asset Solutions will be hosting the events that night. The ribbon cutting event includes food, networking, door prizes, and a well-known speaker.
Noted adoption expert, Mardie Caldwell, Certified Open Adoption Practitioner, is also scheduled to speak about open adoption, the needed services Lifetime will provide to Yuba-Sutter, and share some of the benefits of open adoption. When asked why she opened an adoption center in Yuba City Caldwell said, “The Yuba-Sutter area is underserved in regards to options for an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. We are eager to offer not just free adoption services, but also education on the benefits and opportunities of open adoption.”
Lifetime Adoption will be the first adoption center in the Yuba-Sutter County, and is a refreshing alternative to the foster system. They have helped over thousands of children through their adoption services.
The center in Yuba City strives to serve women and children in the community. They will provide services such as, free clothing, food, and 24 hour counseling. Caldwell explains, “I want women and families to know they can come and talk to us about adoption, with no pressure or judgment.” Lifetime Adoption’s mission was, and still is, to help families and birthmothers come together.
The grand opening will begin at 5:30 in the evening, and is located in the Palora Plaza. There is no charge to attend and no RSVP necessary. Please bring your business cards to this excellent networking opportunity to participate in the prize drawings.
