couple share their adoption storyLifetime Adoption is pleased to share a brand-new installment in our blog series “Then and Now”, which follows Lifetime’s adoptive families from the waiting stage of their journey through to infant adoption! Today’s adoptive family is Kyle and Taya from Nebraska.

A young couple, Kyle and Taya shared with Lifetime that they’d discussed growing their family through adoption even before they were married.

In their adoption profile to showcase themselves to birth mothers, Kyle and Taya wrote, “We eagerly await the day we become parents and consider it a privilege to open our hearts and home to love a child, of any gender or race, unconditionally.

Although we have experienced infertility, adoption has been in our hearts all along. We each have stable, enjoyable jobs and practice living within our means. Ultimately, Christ is the blueprint for how we build our lives and love others. We are best friends who openly communicate our dreams and downfalls with each other.”

They were overjoyed, as were all of us at Lifetime Adoption who helped make their adoption happen! They wrote to their adoption coordinator, Veronica: “We would like to thank you and Lifetime for our journey and for helping unite us with our beautiful daughter. Shortly before Thanksgiving, we received your call that a birth mother had chosen us and was on her way to the hospital to deliver. Our lives changed for the best in one moment and one phone call.

Kyle and Taya share their storyOur experience with Lifetime has been flawless. You all are passionate about giving encouragement through prayer and scripture as well as offering education to ease the process. We never felt alone and would recommend Lifetime to anyone considering adoption. It has been a wonderful experience working with Lifetime and a blessing from God! It is hard to express in words our love for not only our daughter but also for her birth mother.

We are so thankful for Lifetime Adoption’s assistance, guidance, stories, faith, and wisdom they share with both adoptive families and birth mothers. Our love for Kayda’s birth mother cannot be matched with words and these women deserve the utmost respect that Lifetime offers. We will forever be a Lifetime family!”
