As they began their adoption journey with Lifetime, they shared, “We are eager to welcome a child or children of any race into our hearts and home. Mac is an engineer and Shay is a former teacher now a stay-at-home mom. Our home is full of love and laughter. Some of our family favorites include playing board games, visiting the zoo and local amusement park, and attending community fairs. We are thrilled to share these with our growing family!“
In their adoption profile, Mac and Shay wrote, “Hi! As a family, we pray daily for the health, safety, and strength of our birth mom and child. We promise to provide a stable home and will love and support our children emotionally, financially, and physically so that they are able to chase their dreams. One of the reasons we chose adoption is our inability to have more children. Over the years we have learned how to lean on each other and rely on God. Our marriage is full of trust, kindness, and a genuine love for each other. We really are each other’s best friend.
Most of our time together is spent playing with our son, Owen. You will find us out exploring parks, riding roller coasters at our local amusement park, and visiting the zoo and aquarium. We also enjoy playing board games, taking family vacations, and walking around the neighborhood with our dog, Manny. We are excited to share these and make new memories with our growing family.”
Mac and Shay joyfully welcomed a baby girl, Lucy, into their home through a Lifetime adoption! We feel blessed to be able to share their story here.
