Adoptive Family Team Lead
Patty came to Lifetime in 2012 wanting a job where she felt she was making a difference in people’s lives. Patty now leads the Adoptive Family Team as they welcome new adoptive families and guide them through their adoption journey, before they are matched with a birth mother. When asked what she most enjoys about working at Lifetime, Patty shares, “My greatest joy is the connectedness that remains with our families after they adopt. It’s such a delight to stay in touch and watch their little ones grow.”
Patty is passionate about being outdoors. She had a life-changing experience while trekking in Nepal towards the Base Camp of Mount Everest. This is where she realized she was being called to do work involving children. She enjoys travel as well as nature and landscape photography. She’s an avid hiker and also ready at a moment’s notice to go fishing! On weekends, Patty loves working in the yard raising Iris and Dahlias.
Patty shares about a moment at Lifetime that stands out to her: “I remember the first time I walked into a hospital room to meet an adoptive family with their newborn daughter, no words can express the feelings of love shared in the room that day.”
When asked about working with Patty, a co-worker at Lifetime commented, “Patty handles her role as an Adoptive Family Team Lead beautifully. She is always understanding and kind, both to Lifetime adoptive families and to fellow staff members. Patty takes on challenges with humor and grace!”
