There is no more loving choice for your baby than adoption if parenting is not the best option for you and your baby. In foster care situations, you will work with the Department of Human Services.
Kinship or relative adoption may also be an option. This can be a great solution if you have a family member interested in adoption, but there are a few things to consider. This can put a strain on relationships, and there can be boundary issues as well.
Be sure to think about all the pros and cons of each adoption option and go over them with your Lifetime coordinator or a professional counselor.
